Bob graduated with his PhD in Counseling from the University of Michigan. He has been working with adolescents, adults, and couples for many years. His concentration includes working with mood disorders, ADHD, court evaluations, substance abuse, and PTSD. Bob’s background includes Circuit Court Probation, Outpatients Substance Abuse services, and work in a correctional facility. He has been in private practice since 1984. His treatment approach involves helping the person make healthy decisions in order to reach their goals.
Bob’s experience includes teaching at Western Michigan University as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Counseling Psychology program for a number of years. He was also an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice program at Grand Rapids Community College for 15 years. Bob is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
