Mary Ellen earned her Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She also maintains accreditation as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In addition, she is a Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor (CAAC) in the State of Michigan. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), and The Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA). She has worked in both in-patient and out-patient mental health settings.

Mary Ellen treats individuals, families and couples. She works with adults of all ages, adolescents and children.
